In middle and high school, popularity is important, but being popular is something hard to achieve. It means having a good personality, but most importantly the way you look. Because of that, everyone tries their best to have a good sense of fashion and get the most expensive clothing. But what happens if you don't do that? From the others' perspective, you won't be significant, and in extreme cases it can lead to bullying. This is why fashion is so important as a teenager.
